WELLLLLLLLLL 2014 is on it's way out the door and 2015 is about to arrive. I will break down really quick what my plans will be for the new year :-)

YOUTUBE - In 2015 I have decided to officially start doing makeup looks on camera. I don't have the best set up but I will wing it until better equipment comes along. I hope that once I start that it will helps those that are still fairly new and seasoned with inspiration

Motives Cosmetics - Alot of people are unaware that I am an unfranchise business owner with Motives Cosmetics. If you wish to know more please leave a comment below :-) Being in business with motives has been the best decision I have made in 2014. I plan to take things to the next level.

Beauty Blogging - Weekly blog post will be the goal next year. It won't just be about looks or what you may see from other's. I want to be able to be a consultant for those that really need to know the ropes and not break the bank. If someone needs help with brush recommendations, I want to be that person. If you need a dupe list, I want to be able to direct you or tell you the best option.

I want folks to be able to come to me with any makeup related questions. If you have a Facebook please feel free to like my Artistry page

IM BACKKKKKKKKK. hehehehe. Anywho. I was tagged from ElabyStephanie (IG) on a cosmetic Page called UrbanMixCosmetics. The owner wanted me to do a
product review on a Liquid Lipstick Called Spice. I was more than thrilled to try it. Shipping was extremely fast and her constant communication with
me was awesome in regards to the product. Can I just say I AM IN LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

**Product Details**

1 Liquid Lipstick Called Spice with sponge applicator
Vegan, Gluten free, and Paraben Free

**My Thoughts**

I did a swatch on my hand (picture shown) and I automatically knew I was gonna like it. One because I don't have much
orange based lip products. Secondly it's liquid based. I applied and even layer on to my lips and they began to Glow.
Full of sheen and stayed in place. Perfect for any occasion if you ask me :-)

**Would I purchase more items from this company**

HELL YES :-)

It took a minute for me to decide on a eye look to compliment the lip since I don't wear much bright colors,
but I have to say I didn't do too bad....What Do you Think? :-)

To make matters even more superior I was featured on BLACKOPALBEAUTY Instagram page with this look.
I was super excited about that and I am sure Urbanmix Cosmetics was as well :-)

Thanks Again to UrbanMixCosmetics. Please feel free to visit their Page UrbanMixCosmetics

You have seen the many pictures where a makeup artist or person changes a photo to wear they almost look like a cartoon character right? It's a growing epidemic I tell ya.
I was known at the beginning to alter my photos as well. I was not exempt from this. However as it grew it became so terrible looking that I said you know what, I can't do this. It is borderline deception. I ran a few test on some of the apps. I wanted to take the time and see what certain levels of filtering looked like. The picture above was used with an app called CYMERA (Android Users) There is a beauty tab and under the option softening.

****Picture Breakdown****

Left - Is my photo in it's natural state. From the snap of the photo straight to the web
Middle - Cymera App, Softening option, Level 50%
Right - Cymera App, softening option, Level 100%

Look closely as my features changed...my nose is almost non existent in the last photo. Don't get me wrong, some folks just want a nice clean image and so do I.
I've learned that not only perfecting your craft is step one but if you choose to use a filter of any means keep the filter level under 20 if possible. You can still
see a persons true work under that number (To Me) Just be mindful that people are watching and if you want those big gigs, filtering to the gawds wont cut it. Stay Beautiful :-)

Where do I really Begin..... Since my senior year in high school (99) I became more obsessed with makeup. I took a trip with my choir girls to Pentagon City Mall in VA.
We stopped at a Nordstrom's where MAC was being sold. Looking at that makeup counter and seeing all the beautiful products is where i went full force. I began collecting and
wearing all MAC Everything LOL. I loved it. I made monthly trips to collect new products and stay up on trend. In 2006/2007 I said let me try to apply at MAC since i loved it
so much. I tried and didn't get the job. I didn't let that stop me. I took that as a sign that i needed to perfect my craft. I tried again in 09 and started working in the PG plaza
location in MD. Stayed there for 2 years and had to resign due to motherhood. My youngest is now 3 and I work from home consulting and doing makeup. I spend a lot of time engaging with others with the same passion and even assisting where i can. I love to share knowledge and help others follow in their purpose. I am a very social person and I feel that is
essential. I hope that I am able to provide a platform for those with questions and for me or others to provide others with answers. In the meantime please browse my site or social platforms for beauty looks, reviews and etc. Thanks so much for the continued support and hope to chat with you all in the near future :-)
